Dr. Gravino offers short-term counseling with adolescents & adults. Her approach to the counseling/psychotherapy relationship is collaborative and active. Her primary goal is to assist you in feeling comfortable with the therapy process and building a comfortable and meaningful therapeutic relationship. She will help you to feel safe in sharing what is most important to you and to assist you in best meeting your goals.
Dr. Gravino's theoretical orientation is integrationist and she will draw upon the principles of humanistic, interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness approaches based on the client's presenting concerns and their immediate needs. Most important to the work that is completed as a team is the trusting, nurturing, therapeutic relationship that will be built together as the focus remains on helping the client to take positive steps toward their goals.
